The Simi Valley Moorpark Lions and Leo clubs, in conjunction with the Lions Eye Foundation of Southern California Inc., will host a mobile vision and hearing screening from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat., May 9 in the Farmers Insurance parking lot, on Cochran Street between Sycamore Drive and Galena Avenue in Simi Valley.

The event is in conjunction with the Simi Valley Street Fair during Simi Valley Days.

The service is free. Local doctors will conduct eye exams and screening services for glaucoma, cataracts, refraction disorder and hearing.

Patients with problems will be referred for treatment to different facilities that are funded by Simi Valley Moorpark Lions Club, the Southern California Eye Institute and the Lions Low Vision Service Program.
