I cannot get this letter out to you fast enough to say how pleased and impressed I am with the new Simi Dog Park.

I—and my purebred beagle Dolly—have been waiting a long time for this to open, especially since we now live in an apartment after living 40 years in a home of our own.

We visited the park last Mon., March 30 and had such a good time we went back Wed., April 1. Our visit can disprove all of the negative letters some visitors wrote.

I was pleased to see the double gates at the entrance and the trash containers for the dog droppings. We found so many friendly people interested in all of the dogs, not just their own. I could see that not everyone had picked up after their dogs, but I'm sure that will get better as time goes on.

The men maintaining the premises seemed genuinely interested in the people as well as the dogs. What the letter writer said about the dogs being up-to-date on their shots is a good point and benefits all of the animals.
