The Simi Valley Office of Emergency Services is accepting applications for Community Emergency Response Training.

CERT classes will be from 7 to 10 p.m. Thurs., April 30, May 7, 14, 21, 28 and June 4 at in the Emergency Operations Center in the police department building at 3901 Alamo St.

The final session will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat., June 6 at the Ventura County Regional Fire Training Center in Camarillo.

Anyone 18 years or older who lives or works in Simi Valley is eligible to participate.

Applications are available at the Simi Valley Police Department and online at www.simivalley.org.

Application deadline is 6 p.m. Fri., April 24 or when the class is full.
