Fire consumes Simi machine shop
      A fire destroyed a Simi business in an industrial park early Monday morning, fire officials said. The blaze was reported at 4:28 a.m. at H.G. Products, a machine shop at 2190 N. Shasta Way, just off Easy Street.

Day of events planned for Holocaust remembrance
Public asked to share WWIIera artifacts
      Mount Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries will host its fourth annual Yom HaShoah/Holocaust commemoration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sun., April 19 at Kamenir Chapel, 6150 Mount Sinai Drive, Simi Valley. The public is invited. Registration of artifacts and books will start at 9 a.m. Participants are encouraged to bring artifacts from the pre- to post-war periods.

Should the government tax marijuana?
