I blame the state budget crisis on the humans in control of the state legislature, but unfortunately Brian Levy's letter to the editor March 6 doesn't see it that way.

First, Levy blames the Republicans for the budget crisis when he knows the Democrats control Sacramento and the budget vote. Then he cries we are "robbing the children." What a tear-jerker that is.

Pitifully, Mr. Levy believes Arnold Schwarzenegger and the Legislature should have more taxpayer money, yet the facts show that no one knows where the money is being spent. Believe it or not.

The people of California can follow Mr. Levy, Arnold, the blind and the Legislature off the cliff May 19. Ray Holm Thousand Oaks
