Southern California Edison will help its residential customers with a free session on the California Solar Initiative program and the incentives it offers to homeowners who decide to "go solar" from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wed., March 25 at Edison's Thousand Oaks Service Center, conference rooms A and B, 3589 Foothill Drive, Thousand Oaks.

Additional free parking is available at the Wellness Community lot across the street.

Customers will learn about solar energy basics, benefits of installing a solar energy system, tax credits and other financial models, and financial incentives through the solar initiative program.

The program is non-technical and easy to understand.

The session is free but registration is required because space is limited.
