      Southern California Edison will help its residential customers with a free session on the California Solar Initiative program and the incentives it offers to homeowners who decide to "go solar" from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wed., March 25 at Edison's Thousand Oaks Service Center, conference rooms A and B, 3589 Foothill Drive, Thousand Oaks.

Methodist women hosting spring boutique
      The spring boutique sponsored by the Simi Valley United Methodist Women will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fri. and Sat., March 27 and 28 at the church, 2394 Erringer Road, Simi Valley. Patrons may shop for Easter goodies for children, birthday gifts, Mother's Day and Father's Day presents, anniversary mementos and home decor.
