Jerry Burke of Simi Valley, CA passed away 2-24-2009 at Simi Valley Hospital. Jerry was born in Brawley, Calif. in 1942 to parents Mr. & Mrs. D. G. Burke. Jerry grew up in Niland, Calif., moving to Thousand Oaks as a young adult, where he met and married Barbara McColley, who was his bride for 48 years, having married her at the age of 19. They made their home in the San Fernando Valley. Moving to Simi Valley to raise their two sons, Jerry was an owner/ operator most of his adult life, retiring in 2007.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, his bride, a brother and one sister. He leaves to mourn his passing two sons, Bob Burke of Montgomery City, Mo. and Todd Burke of Las Vegas, Nev.; a sister of Kansas City, Mo.; three grandchildren; a niece; and many cousins. May Jerry rest in peace with his bride.
