BIG BOUNTY—Local Boy, Girl and Cub Scouts rendezvoused at the Simi train station last Saturday to total up the nonperishable food items they'd collected during a day-long food drive to benefit area food banks. The week prior, the Scouts hung fliers on doors around town asking residents for donations. In all, the community handed out more than 36,000 food items.
