Judy Pepiot, community coordinator of Simi Valley Council for Senior Housing, will address the Simi Valley Community Council on Thurs., March 12 following a brief business meeting.

The community council meets from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the International House of Pancakes, 2525 Erringer Road, Simi Valley for a no-host lunch.

Pepiot will give a report on senior housing issues in Simi Valley and describe the advocacy programs for agerestricted housing for those 55 years and older in all income levels.

Each member agency or organization will have the opportunity to mention upcoming events they are planning. Donations of nonperishable food items will be taken for Care and Share.The presentation is open to the public

Membership in the community council is $10 per year. The club meets September through May.
