The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute of Cal State Channel Islands will offer an eight-week course on "Women and the White House" from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays starting March 11 at the Simi Valley Senior Center, 3900 Avenida Simi.

John Pendleton will present an historical analysis on the role women have played in the executive branch, especially the role of the first ladies. The course will have no tests, grades or college credits. The fee is $75.
