Synagogue celebrates Jewish Earth Day


IN HONOR OF MOTHER EARTH—Simi Valley resident Rosie Gagnon, above at right, and the Sisterhood of B'nai Emet, celebrate Jewish Earth Day with a Tu Bishvat Seder on Feb. 10 at the temple. Tu Bishvat, the New Year  of  the Trees,  is  a  time  to  sit back and consider what  nature  has  to  teach  humankind.
