Katie Chamberlain Katie Chamberlain, a thirdgrader at Vista Fundamental Elementary School in Simi Valley, competed in the Level 4 California State Gymnastics Championships at Bakersfield.

Katie went toe-to-toe with the best female gymnasts in the state at the Platinum Level.

She received two first-place finishes and is now the Junior Women's state champion in uneven bars and balance beam.

Katie also earned a thirdplace finish in the floor exercise and an eighth-place result in the vault. She was second in the all-around.
