Simi Valley Elks Lodge 2492 will honor firefighters and law enforcement personnel with a dinner and appreciation program on Fri., Feb. 27 at the lodge, 1561 Kuehner Drive, Simi Valley.

The event will begin with a flag presentation at 6:15 p.m. and a barbecue tri-tip and chicken dinner at 6:30 p.m. The awards ceremony will start at approximately 8 p.m.

The Elks will present plaques to officers from the Simi Valley Police Department, Ventura County Sheriff 's Department and California Highway Patrol, and firefighters from Fire Station No. 43.
