The Ventura County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. will host the premiere of Tyler Perry's new movie "Madea Goes to Jail" on Fri., Feb. 20 at Plaza Cinema 14, 255 W. 5th St., Oxnard. The public is invited.

Guests will be escorted down a Hollywood-style red carpet to the theater.

Tickets are $10. All the money raised from the chapter's fundraiser will be used to support scholarships and its community service programs.

The chapter has been serving Ventura and Santa Barbara counties for nearly 30 years. Delta Sigma Theta is a nonprofit public service organization of predominately African American college-educated women.
