      Robin Millar, administrative director of rehabilitation therapies at Simi Valley Hospital, will receive the Healthcare Professional of the Year award from the Ventura County Medical Resource Foundation.       The Simi Valley Chapter of Hearing Loss of America will meet at 2 p.m. Thurs., Feb. 12 in the multipurpose room of the Simi Valley Senior Center, 3900 Avenida Simi, Simi Valley. Nancy Bozarth of the Harmony Hearing Center will be the guest speaker.

Gymnastics club excels at competition
Simi gymnasts bring home some hardware
      Athletes from Monarchs Gymnastics in Agoura Hills and Newbury Park brought home many medals at the recent 10th annual Lady Luck Invitational in Las Vegas. More than 1,200 boys and girls competed. Alyssa Gale, 16, of Simi Valley won three gold medals, including one for all-around, in the Level 10 division.
