The city of Simi Valley has approved the sale of up to 19 additional affordable units for seniors age 55 or up in the recently developed Paseo De Las Flores condominium project on the west side of Stearns Street south of Los Angeles Avenue. Each unit has three bedrooms, two or two and a half baths, and an attached two-car garage. The master bedroom and bath, kitchen and living room are on the ground floor, with the secondary bedrooms upstairs.

The sales price is $195,100 after subtracting a $150,000 city loan which does not accrue interest or require payments during the 50year restricted resale period. Homebuyers must provide a down payment and be qualified for a loan.

Eligible homebuyers are allowed a maximum income of $48,000 for one person and $54,850 for two persons.
