The counselors at Santa Susana High School will host a presentation on high school basics for the parents of middle school students who are in seventh grade at 7 p.m. Wed., Jan. 28 in the school's multipurpose room, 3570 Cochran St., Simi Valley.

Topics include high school graduation requirements, preparation coursework and study habits, credits and transcripts, and general college information. Seating is limited, and interested parents should call for a reservation at (805) 520-6800, ext. 1155.
