On Jan. 8, a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance in the 3100 block of Galena Avenue.

A 27-year-old man was arrested Jan. 8 and charged with vandalism resulting in more than $400 in damage.

The following were arrested Jan. 9 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance: a 25-year-old woman in the 1800 block of Sycamore Drive and a 48year-old woman in the 3400 block of Highwood Court.

At E. Bayside Street and N. Boalt Court, a 20-year-old man was arrested and charged with the illegal possession of an alcoholic beverage on Jan. 9.

From Jan. 10 to 11, eight people were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, two resulting in non-injury accidents and two resulting in hitand-run accidents.

The following were arrested Jan. 11 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance: a 43-year-old man in the 3500 block of Evans Drive and a 24-year-old man in the 2600 block of E. Phipps Avenue.

The following were arrested Jan. 11 and charged with resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer: a 21-year-old man in the 5200 block of Indian Hills Drive and a 38year-old man at E. Los Angeles and Yosemite avenues.

On Jan. 12, a 20-year-old man was arrested and charged with breaking or removing vehicle parts at Winifred and Belinda streets.

At Stoney View Lane and Katherine Road, a 27-year-old man was arrested Jan. 12 and charged with possessing drug paraphernalia.

A 38-year-old woman was arrested Jan. 12 and charged with possession of a controlled substance in the 1400 block of Kuehner Drive.

In the 4800 block of Borders Street Jan. 13., a 41-year-old woman was arrested at Extreme Makeover Interiors and charged with grand theft.

A 51-year-old woman was arrested Jan. 13 and charged with shoplifting at the Costco store on Park Center Drive.

In the 2500 block of Erringer Road on Jan. 14, a male transient, 20, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, and a woman, 40, was arrested and charged with narcotics possession.
