Congregation B'nai Emet will host a dairy potluck dinner at 6:30 p.m. Fri., Jan. 9 at the temple, 9 W. Bonita Drive, Simi Valley. A Sabbath service will follow at 8 p.m. The public is welcome.

Rabbi Michele Paskow will teach a beginning Hebrew class from 11 a.m. to noon Sundays starting Jan. 11.

The fee is $50 for members, $75 for nonmembers and halfprice for high school and college students.
