•The Simi Valley Senior Center will offer a program on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator for seven weeks from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. starting today, Jan. 1 at the center, 3900 Avenida Simi.

The indicator helps participants determine their personality type and how that affects their daily life and decision making.

The cost is $24 and a $15 lab fee is due at the first class.

•The senior center will sponsor a trip to the Bowers Museum and the Orange County Museum of Art on Thurs., Feb. 5. Participants will board the motor coach at the center at 10:15 a.m. and arrive back in Simi Valley at 5:30 p.m.

The trip will include a Chinese buffet lunch, Museum of Culture art exhibits and a display of "American Quilts: 200 Years of Tradition."

The cost is $62 and reservation deadline is Jan. 28.
