In the 2800 block of E. Cochran Street, a 36-year-old man was arrested and charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance Dec. 21.

The following were arrested Dec. 21 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance: a 28-year-old man was arrested on the corner of E. Los Angeles Avenue and Galt Street and a 21-year-old man in the 1800 block of E. Cloud Court.

A 21-year-old man was arrested Dec. 22 and charged with shoplifting in the 1600 block of Simi Town Center Way.

In the 1500 block of Simi Town Center Way, an 18-year-old woman was arrested and charged with theft Dec. 22.

At Elizondo Street and Friant Avenue, a 46-year-old man was arrested Dec. 23 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

On Dec. 23, a 25-year-old man was arrested and charged with petty theft in the 2400 block of Chandler Avenue.

A 31-year-old man was arrested Dec. 24 and charged with possession of a switchblade at Erringer Road and E. Cochran Street.

On Dec. 24, a 28-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man were arrested on shoplifting charges in the 200 block of E. Cochran Street.

In the 1700 block of First Street, a 34-year-old man was arrested Dec. 25 and charged with domestic infliction of corporal injury.

A 20-year-old man was arrested Dec. 25 and charged with possession of narcotics in the 1400 block of Patricia Avenue.

From Dec. 23 to 26, five people were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

On Dec. 26, a 45-year-old man was arrested and charged with battery against a peace officer in the 1700 block of Royal Avenue.

In the 4600 block of Adam Road, a 55-year-old woman was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance Dec. 26.

An 18-year-old woman was arrested Dec. 26 and charged with shoplifting in the 2900 block of Tapo Canyon Road.

On Dec. 26, a 23-year-old man was arrested in the 2800 block of E. Cochran Street and charged with possession of narcotics.

Two men, 21 and 20, were arrested at Caldwell and Chandler avenues Dec. 27 and charged with possession of marijuana.

At First Street and the 118 Freeway, a 36-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance Dec. 28.

On Dec. 28, a 29-year-old man was arrested on a charge of theft in the 5100 block of E. Los Angeles Avenue.

In the 2200 block of Union Place, a 21-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana Dec. 28.
