Michael Foster
Michael Foster, 17, of Boy Scout Troop 622, received his Eagle Scout rank at an Eagle Court of Honor at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center.

Michael started Scouting in 1998 as a Tiger Club in Pack 2617. He joined Troop 622 in 2002. He has earned 33 merit badges and has attended seven summer camps, five winter camps and six camporees.

He has served as senior patrol leader, assistant senior patrol leader, patrol leader, assistant patrol leader and troop bugler. Michael is a member of the Order of the Arrow.

For his Eagle service project, Michael designed, raised funds for and built a gazebo in the outdoor play therapy area of the Free Clinic of Simi Valley.

Michael attends Simi Valley High School. His parents are Michelle and Craig Foster of Simi Valley.
