Homecoming honors heroes

"Heroes United" will be the theme of Grace Brethren High School's homecoming football game next Friday, Oct. 10, at Moorpark College.

The school is inviting firefighters, law enforcement and military personnel—both active duty and retired—to attend the 7:30 p.m. game against Bishop Diego of Santa Barbara free of charge.

Those who show ID or come dressed in uniform will receive a gift certificate from McDonald's. Spirit Week at the school runs from Oct. 6 to 10.
