Pets to be blessed Sunday

St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church will host its annual Blessing of the Animals service at 10:15 a.m. Sun., Oct. 5 outdoors on the church lawn at 280 Royal Ave., Simi Valley.

The Rev. Steven Dean, vicar, will bless each pet during the service.

The public is invited at no charge or obligation.

Pets must be either on a leash or in a carrier. Guests are responsible for getting their pets to and from the church.
