Free resources are available throughout the county

The Human Services Agency and Workforce Investment Board of Ventura County provides free job seeker and employer services at the Job and Career Centers throughout Ventura County.

Services are for those who are entering the job market, reentering after a layoff, or looking to change careers.

Many centers offer monthly workshops on topics such as interview tactics, resume writing, and online job search techniques.

There is no charge for services provided.

The Job and Career Centers also seek to match or train qualified job seekers with local business needs.

Staff provides companies with employee recruitment services, customized training and employment services at no charge to both large and small businesses.

The Job and Career Centers are in Fillmore, Oxnard, Santa Paula, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks and Ventura.
