City golf championship next weekend

Simi Hills Golf Course will host the City Golf Championship Saturday, Aug. 1, and Sunday, Aug. 2.

The 36-hole tournament will feature play in four flights, including the championship flight, which was won last year by Ramie Sprinkling with a score of 133.

Sprinkling is a UC Davis student and former Rio Mesa High standout.
