Serving in Uniform

•Army National Guard Spec. Justin B. DuFresne has been mobilized and activated at Fort Dix, N.J., for an overseas deployment.

He is a member of the 40th Military Police Company at the Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos, Calif.

DuFresne is the son of Anne Christiansen of La Habra and John DuFresne of Simi Valley.

He graduated in 2001 from Sonora High School, La Habra, Calif.

•Air Force Tech. Sgt. Armando Aguilar has arrived for duty at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras to serve as a member of Joint Task Force-Bravo.

The units conduct training, deter trafficking in narcotics and humans, and engage in civil affairs activities.

Aguilar is a supervisor who has served in the military for 15 years.

He is the son of Sonia Sotomayor of Simi Valley and a 1991 graduate of Royal High School.
