Jaguars, Leno to appear at car club event

The Ventura Sports and Race Car Club will hold its inaugural Ventura Motorsports Gathering Sunday, July 20 at Mission Park in downtown Ventura.

This year's theme is "Salute to Jaguar" and a variety of Jaguar models will be on display. Other makes in attendance will be Ferrari, Maserati and Mercedes.

Comedian Jay Leno is expected to attend the event.
