Gypsies present a fairytale in the park An unhappy couple, misguided parents, an arranged marriage make for confusion in the forest. With the audience's help, Puck, the mischievous sprite from Shakespeare's "Midsummer Night's Dream," can put things right- or make them worse in the next production for Fairy Tales in the Park, presented by the all-volunteer troupe of Gypsies in a Trunk. Performances of "Puck- A Midsummer Day's Fairytale" are as follows: 11:30 a.m. Sat., July 5 at Foxfield Park, 31763 Foxfield Drive, Westlake Village; 4 p.m. Saturday, July 5 at Rancho Simi Amphitheater in Rancho Simi Community Park, 1765 Royal Ave., Simi Valley; and 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 12 behind the Community Recreation Center, 1605 E. Burnley St., Camarillo. Bring chairs or blankets for outdoor lawn seating. Attendees may bring picnic lunch or snacks, but leave pets at home. Shows are free but donations will be accepted during intermission. John Logue is the writer and director.
