Active Adult Programs

The following are upcoming events scheduled at the Simi Valley Senior Center.

•The center will sponsor a trip to the Ventura County Fair on Tuesday, Aug 6 at the fairgrounds by Seaside Park in Ventura.

Fair admission is free for those 62 and older.

The bus will depart from the senior center at 3900 Avenida Simi at 10 a.m. and return at about 5:15 p.m.

The cost is $20 per person. Reservations are due by July 28 by calling the center at (805) 583-6363.

•The center will offer a six day, five night trip to Branson, Mo. on Oct. 9 through 14.

The trip includes round trip airfare to Kansas City, deluxe motorcoach, professional tour guide, eight shows, five dinners, five breakfasts and sightseeing, including College of the Ozarks.

The cost is $1,599 per person for double occupancy and $1,899 for single occupancy.

A $200 deposit per person to hold reservations and full payment is due by Aug. 29.
