Conejo hospice now offers young adult grief support

Hospice of the Conejo is sponsoring grief support for young adults ages 18 to 26. The group meets Wednesdays in the human services building, 80 E. Hillcrest Drive, Ste. 204, Thousand Oaks.

Before the new group was formed, those 18 and older would attend the adult bereavement group, where participation is predominantly made up of 30 to 55year-olds. Such grief support groups offer validation and an opportunity to sort out one's emotions after the loss of a loved one.

There is no charge to participate in the group, which is open to Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Moorpark, Westlake Village and surrounding area residents.
