      Friends Ashley Cooke and Heather Tomaszewski baked snickerdoodles and chocolate chip cookies on Monday and delivered them to the Simi Valley Police. So went a typical day for students in leadership class at Sinaloa Middle School.

Simi student makes dean's list at DePaul
      Rebecca Heteniak of Simi Valley has been named to the dean's list for the 2008 winter quarter at DePaul University in Chicago. To earn this commendation, full-time students must earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above on a four-point scale.
