SVHS winter guard wins

Simi Valley High School Winter Guard received a first place gold medal at the recent Winter Guard Association of Southern California championships in Mission Viejo.

The group performed a dance number to the song "Summer of '69."

The Winter Guard is directed by Becky Danahy. Members are captain Breeana Johnson, captain Sydney Rogers, Nicole St. Pierre, Liz Johnson, Angie He, Diane Munoz, Drew Kleinbach and Chelsea Simpson.
