Educational presentation will discuss high blood pressure

The Simi Valley Senior Center, in partnership with Simi Valley Hospital, will offer an educational presentation on high blood pressure at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 13 at the center, 3900 Avenida Simi.

Nurse practitioner Mary Haynes will discuss issues related to high blood pressure in the senior population, including dangers, prevention and the benefits and side effects of blood pressure-lowering medication.

A questionandanswer session will follow the lecture.
