Republican women hosting McCain backer

The Simi Valley-Moorpark Republican Women Federated will hold a joint meeting with Conejo Republican Women at 11 a.m. Friday, May 16 in the grand ballroom at the Thousand Oaks Inn, 75 W. Thousand Oaks Blvd.

The guest speaker will be Rear Adm. George H. Strohsahl, former commander at Point Mugu, who will speak on behalf of Veterans for McCain.

A social time will begin at 11 a.m., and the luncheon will follow at 11:30 a.m.

Cost is $20, and reservations must be made by Wednesday, May 14.
