Stop equating illegal aliens with immigrants

Why is it that everyone who is for open borders continually confuses illegal aliens with immigrants? They are not the same.

Immigrants have come to this country through proper channels. They do not sneak across the border or overstay a visa.

Illegals do not have Social Security numbers unless they have stolen them; therefore, they do not pay income taxes.

And because they have broken the law, they do not deserve privileges that are given to legal citizens.

Here are a few more statistics for you.

They are backed up by various transcripts and studies:

•$11 billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens per year

•$2.2 billion on food stamps •$2.5 billion on Medicaid

•$12 billion on education

•$3 million per day on incarceration

This is just the tip of the iceberg. I could go on, but this paper has limited space.

So how do you rationalize any of these numbers? Everyone knows Reagan made a mistake and that laws have not been enforced.

The point is, we are not going to let another one happen, and we are going to enforce the laws. Everyone I know has had enough of this.

Our taxpayer money is not going to citizens or services of our own country. Look at those numbers again- they start with B's.
