Cajun Fest needs sponsors
Popular event turns 19 this year

The Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise will host the 19th annual Cajun Creole Music Festival on May 24 and 25 at Rancho Santa Susana Community Park in Simi Valley.

The festival is now the second largest Cajun festival west of the Mississippi with more than 15,000 people attending.

The Rotary Club is seeking sponsors from the community for this event.

There are numerous sponsorship levels and include Les Amis du Festival (Friends of Cajun) for $1,000 and Sponsors Les Plus Haut (Naming Sponsors) from $2,500 to $25,000.

The event is a fundraiser for the Rotary Club. Net proceeds of more than $1 million have been distributed to nonprofit organizations, senior citizens, youth, families in need and community groups in Simi Valley, Ventura County and internationally.
