Denby helps USA swim team make history

Simi Valley resident Kara Denby was part of the USA women's 4x100 medley relay team that established a new shortcourse world record during the ninth FINA World Swimming Championships in Manchester, England, on April 11.

According to USA Today, the U.S. relay squad won in 3:51.36, improving on Australia's 3:51.84 from two years ago.
