Zoning ordinancwere put there for a reason

Electronic message boards 25 feet high with continuous-motion graphics? How ugly and tacky can Simi get?

I'm afraid our lovely city is going down the dump. Afraid it will look like every other urbanized, overbuilt, overpopulated city in the U.S.

The zoning ordinances set up here were meant to protect Simi from this kind of development. Those signs on First Street are tall enough and can be seen just fine.

I hate to see our lovely Simi Valley go in this direction.

What with the church that wants to build in a greenbelt area, Katherine Road being widened with only one way to get out, zoning changes made to accommodate higher-density construction to squeeze in as many people as possible, it's not looking good, folks.

Let the City Council know how you feel.
