Earth Day activities coming to town center

The city of Simi Valley and Waste Management Inc. sponsor an Earth Day event form 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday, April 19 at Simi Valley Town Center.

The day includes "green" entertainment, information booths, educational programs and an art installation made from 836 plastic water bottles

The first 700 guests who bring 10 plastic water bottles to recycle will receive free tote bags.

The first 200 guests who "Pledge to Make the Switch" from regular light bulbs will be given free energyefficient compact fluorescent bulbs.
