Public can provide input on how city should use federal money

The city is soliciting comments on the Draft FY 2008-09 Action Plan that describes the intended use of federal and other funding resources on community needs outlined in the city's five- year 2005 consolidated plan.

The document is available for public review at the city of Simi Valley city clerk's office at 2929 Tapo Canyon Road, the Ventura County Library Simi Valley Branch at 2926 Tapo Canyon Road, and the Development Services Building at 3855A Alamo Street.

During the review period, interested citizens are encouraged to submit comments in writing to the city.

Written comments should be sent to City of Simi Valley, Attn: Carolyn Duncan, Environmental Services Department, 2929 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley, CA 93063.

Public comments will also be accepted at a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 5 in the council chambers at City Hall, 2929 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley.
