'Baby Boomers' Night Out' benefits local senior center All proceeds from "Baby Boomers' Night Out" at 8 p.m. Friday, April 18 at the Simi Valley Senior Center, 3900 Avenida Simi, will benefit the senior center. The event will be hosted by Bob Ridley, a comedian and comedy writer for more than 25 years. Local vocalist celebrities Nancy Wright and Marsha O'Brien will pay tribute to the music groups of the early boomer era, singing songs such as "Teenager in Love," "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" and "My Boyfriend's Back." Veteran guitarists Rick Vannelli and Dick Wells will also perform. There is a $5 cover charge, and seniors age 60 and up will be admitted free. For more information, call (818) 612-0357. |
