YMCA selects new executive director

Daniel Jaeger

Daniel Jaeger is the new executive director of the Simi Valley Family YMCA. He is responsible for overseeing operations of the 25,000-square-foot facility that serves more than 7,500 Simi Valley residents.

Jaeger was previously the district executive director of the YMCA in Greenville, S.C., where he was responsible for two YMCA branches. He was also an associate executive director at the Santa Barbara Family YMCA.

In addition to daytoday facility operations, Jaeger is responsible for the operation of the Simi YMCA's childcare program, the Y Adventure Guides parent/child program and the summer day camp program.
