Young at Art

Young at Art Studios provides some of the finest art instruction in Ventura County.

All studios provide a progressive program of classic fine arts techniques and innovative experimentation in drawing, painting and mixed media in a caring, creative environment for all ages taught by professional artists.

Owner Elois Brett-Kress believes that anyone can draw and paint once given the right tools and instruction.

"Because I believe everyone is creative in some way, I look for ways to develop those hidden talents," said Brett-Kress. "Being creative gives a great deal of confidence and self-pride that helps us to be successful in life."

BrettKress works in each of her studios at least once a week. She specializes in teen and adult classes, mentoring high school students and preparing them for college.

Free introductory classes are available by appointment.
