This stop sign could use a sting

I live across the street from Grace Brethren Junior/Senior High, which also houses a preschool at the corner of Elizondo Street and Cherry Avenue.

At this corner are stop signs which no one ever stops for, especially the parents picking up their children.

On many occasions we have complained to the police department but never see anything done. Early morning hours, 5 to 7 a.m., afternoons when the kids get out of school and the evening hours are the worst.You can hear them speed through the stop sign like it wasn't even there.

How many children need to get hit until the police decide to do something at this corner?

If the police can do a sting for crosswalk violators, why can't they do one for this stop sign issue?
