Learn how to tutor adults

The Conejo Valley Adult School Literacy Program will offer a free literacy tutor workshop from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 19 at the Conejo Valley Adult School, Room 5, 1025 Old Farm Road, Thousand Oaks. The workshop will prepare volunteers to tutor adults in basic literacy skills. Volunteers do not need a teaching background.

After completing the training, volunteers will commit to a minimum of two hours per week, days or evenings, to tutor an adult student in the school's literacy center.
