Studio hosting cancer fundraiser

The Passion Studio in Simi Valley is sponsoring an "East Coast Swing" fundraiser for the American Cancer Society on Friday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m., at the studio, 4722 Valley Fair St., Simi Valley.

There is a suggested donation of $10 per person, and 100 percent of the proceeds go to the ACS in memory of Chris Stangl, brother of Passion Studio owner, Ann Stangl.

Professional instructors Kandice Vergara, Armando Gutierrez and Edren Sumagaysay will give attendees a taste of their eight-week course in East Coast Swing that begins Friday, April 4 at the studio. A dance partner is not required.

A cocktail/social hour will immediately follow the lesson.
