Community forum will discuss school budget crisis

A community forum addressing California's education crisis will convene at 4:30 p.m. Wed., April 2 at the Thousand Oaks High School Performing Arts Center, 2323 N. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

Superintendents and parents from Conejo, Las Virgenes, Moorpark, Oak Park and Simi Valley school districts will discuss the 200809 education budget and its regional impact.

There will be a questionandanswer session.

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and other state and local officials have been invited to attend.

The forum is sponsored by the 12th District PTA and Californians Organized to Rescue Education.
