Aide is now certified expert in autism

The Ventura County Special Education Local Plan Area recently announced that Simi Valley Unified School District Special Education Aide Rita Spangler has completed all requirements for the Autism Certification Program and is now recognized as an expert.

To achieve this certification, candidates must participate in a variety of professional development events to gain skills and expertise for working with children with autism.
